In Sumer, things are a lot harder than in the mountains. One of the worst parts is the flooding. It has killed several farmers who tried to farm in the moist land. There is also a lot of heat.It has dried up some water that we need. I don't know if we can survive any longer.
A solution could be to prevent flooding is the building of levees. Levees are walls of hardened mud. This would help prevent water from overflowing and destroying crops and homes. Another idea would be to create a system to keep an accurate sense of time. That way floods could be predicted and the excess water that we can save from a creation of irrigation systems could be used when water becomes scarce in certain months. What do you think?

Sam I read your blog and a solution to the flooding is to make levees out of mud. If the farmers make the levees the two rivers will never flood.
